Managing subscriptions and sales in Listgo

In Listgo 1.5.0, You will see 3 new menu items under Wiloke Submissions: Subscriptions, Sales and Session Details. In this tutorial, I gonna show you when we get a subscription record, when we get a sale record, wherefrom it will help you to manage Wiloke Submission better.

Subscription Item

When a customer purchases a RECURRING plan, a subscription item will be created.

For example, if a plan is $10 USD a week and the customer purchases the plan on Tuesday, December 23 via PayPal gateway, as soon as the session has been succeeded, a subscription item will be created, but please note that the money won’t transfer to your  PayPal account immediately.

  • Tuesday, December 23 = $10.00 USD will be transferred to your PayPal account, an invoice will be created right after that.
  • Tuesday, December 30 = $10.00 USD will be transferred to your PayPal account, an invoice will be created right after that.
  • so on

This time, the subscription holds Active status.

When the customer clicks on Cancel Subscription or his/her balance is smaller than 10$, the subscription will be switched to Cancelled/Suspended status.

To simply put, a Subscription is created by a Recurring Session. A subscription can have more than one Invoices. Looking at Subscription status, We will know whether a subscription is activating or not.

Bank Transfer Subscription:

A is purchase a Recurring Plan via Bank Transfer gateway.

Once A transferred the funds to your account, and he should buzz you: “Hey, I just transferred the funds to your bank account … My email address is testbanktransferpayment@gmail.com, my Order ID (It’s subscription ID) is 31 … bla … bla”. To activate his account, from the admin sidebar, click on Wiloke Submission -> Subscriptions -> Looking for testbanktransferpayment@gmail.com or #31

Click on it -> Create new Invoice

Once you have clicked on Create New Invoice, an invoice will be created and the subscription info should look like this now

Paying attention to Ended at value, it’s NEXT BILLING PAYMENT.

Sale Item

When a customer purchases a NON-RECURRING plan, a sale item will be created, an invoice will be created right after that. Unlike the subscription session, the funds will be transferred to your PayPal account immediately.

To simply put, a sale item is created by a NON-RECURRING session (Purchasing an event plan or a NonRecurring Add Listing plan). The relationship between Sale and Invoice is one-one.
